Floral Questions and Answers

The floral agreement is part of the contract and should be turned in at the time of securing your booking. The floral agreement is signed to ensure that all floral orders are submitted forty five days prior to the ceremony. This is to ensure all of your flowers can be ordered and delivered on time. If you decide to change your flowers one week before the wedding, there will be additional fees, as the flowers have already been ordered.

Fresh Cut Floral would be happy to assist you in creating any bouquet you wish to have for your wedding. Whether it is something you find in a magazine or on the internet, your Wedding Planner will be your primary source and assure that your vision is met by our florists.

Weddings by Mandalay Bay does not allow any outside vendors therefore all floral orders must be provided by Fresh Cut Floral in Mandalay Bay (as stated in the contract).

Yes you can! You may place floral arrangement orders and centerpieces through your Wedding Planner. Please give them all of your ideas/photos/colors/etc. As well, your Wedding Planner can assist you with all elements of décor from chiavari chairs and linens to entertainment and lighting!

All wedding plans will come with worksheets detailing what comes with the wedding plan. Each worksheet comes with prices for additional floral such as boutonnieres, corsages, bouquets, flower girl baskets, kissing balls, etc. Please note that you must mark all additional floral selections on your floral worksheets. The Wedding Planners cannot enter any information unless they have a completed worksheet from you.

Yes, you can upgrade your bouquet. If you have a petite bouquet and would like to upgrade to a large the pricing is $48.00. (Please note that this upgrade price is only for roses). Wedding Packages & Plans Questions

The $1000.00 or $2250.00 deposit is collected at the time of booking. The remaining balance along with any upgrades will be charged thirty days prior to your ceremony. (Any additional payments can be applied prior to the thirty-day mark by filling out a credit card authorization form.)

Should online wedding selections be made any time prior to the forty-five day deadline, the couple will be contacted by coordinator and will be completed as soon as possible.

No, the chapel the ceremony will take place is determined by the amount of guests and also the time requested. (Ceremonies with fewer than fifty guests will take place in the Silver or Gold chapel and weddings with over fifty guests will take place in the Platinum chapel for an additional fee of $250.00.) Please note that the Silver Chapel is booked on the hour: 1PM, 2PM, 3PM, etc. The Silver is referred to as the aisle with the backwards “L”. The Gold Chapel is booked on the half hour of every hour: 1:30PM, 2:30PM, 3:30PM. Lastly, the Platinum Chapel is every quarter of each hour: 1:15PM, 2:15PM, and 3:15PM. If your request a 2PM ceremony start time, but have 75 guests, we will place you in the Platinum Chapel at 2:15PM.

The courthouse is open seven days a week from 8AM to Midnight. A form of photo identification is needed for each person applying, as well as $60.00-$100.00 cash. You will need to have your marriage license the day of the ceremony, no exceptions. You can go the day before your wedding or up to one year prior. There is no waiting period or blood testing done. Our wedding plans include a limo ride to the courthouse, however you will select the day and time preferred.

All of the online wedding selections are due forty five days prior to the ceremony. At this time, your coordinator will contact you to confirm all of the details of your wedding. You will be emailed the final wedding event form and balance which will need to be paid for no later than 30 days prior to the wedding online.

Unfortunately, wedding plans cannot be altered or changed. Although you can upgrade music, photo, video and floral selections, there cannot be any substitutions or changes made to an actual wedding plan.

You can book a ceremony anywhere from eighteen months out to twenty-four hours prior to the ceremony. (Please be advised that if booking thirty days or less in advance floral options will be limited, and payment in full will be required at the time of booking)

Ceremony Questions and Answers

The Wedding Planner will be taking care of the details for your ceremony from start to finish. She will be providing all instructions to the wedding party prior to the ceremony & cueing the processional behind the scenes on the day of the wedding.

The dressing rooms will be available to your party forty (40) minutes prior to your ceremony start time. We strongly suggest having the bridal party (bridesmaids & groomsmen) arrive to the chapel dressed and ready to go in order to start the ceremony on time. The bride & groom are more than welcome to bring their gown & tux to change into once they arrive at their designated dressing rooms. Please note that these rooms should be used for touch-up purposes only and we recommend having your hair & make-up done prior to arriving at the chapel. Please keep in mind any items you bring down to the dressing room, must leave with you. If your ceremony is taking place at Valley of the Falls, you do not have access to the dressing rooms as stated in the contract. **This is only applicable to wedding packages that include the dressing rooms**

Depending on your ceremony location, you will have an organized timeline provided on your Wedding Event Order throughout your planning process. Your Wedding Planner will also send a “One Week Reminder” timeline email one (1) week prior to your ceremony date.

The floral, along with complimentary bottled water, will be waiting in the dressing room prior to your arrival. If you need your flowers earlier in the day for photos you will need to arrange this with your Wedding Planner.

The ceremony is approximately fifteen (15) minutes in length. This will be longer based on religious traditions, readings, number of persons in the wedding party, and length of personal vows. Please inform your wedding planner of all ceremony additions forty-five (45) days prior your ceremony.

A marriage license must be present at the chapel in order to begin any ceremony. Should the marriage license be forgotten, the wedding will not begin until the license has been placed in the hands of our Minister.

Due to the high volume of weddings, the dressing rooms will be cleaned/cleared out during your ceremony by your assigned servicing coordinator. We highly recommend having everything gathered & organized in one area of the dressing room prior to ceremony start. We have designated areas for each chapel to transfer your belongings from the room for a member of your party to pick-up after the ceremony has finished. If you are the only/last ceremony of the day, we will be sure to advise you if you are able to leave your belongings in the room(s).

After your recessional, the guests will be asked to exit the chapel following the ceremony. Your photographer will then take you, your wedding party, & immediate family (optional) back inside the chapel for the formal session followed by the couple’s photo session.

Personal vows and/or a prayer or passage is a wonderful way to customize your ceremony and we strongly encourage it. Please make sure that you send a copy to your coordinator to ensure a backup copy and a copy for the Minister to review and approve. Please note that the Minister does not need to review personal vows.

You are more than welcome to bring a CD for seating and/or your ceremony at no additional cost. Our professional & knowledgeable audio visual production staff will coordinate all your music selections flawlessly. If you are providing a CD, please be sure your tracks consist of the following: Seating • Songs #1 - 5: Seating Music (this will start 15 minutes before the ceremony as guests are entering the chapel) Ceremony • Song #6: Groom/Wedding Party Entrance • Song #7: Bride’s Entrance • Song #8: Background during Ceremony (Optional; Instrumental is highly recommended as this typically played during your vows, unity candle, etc.) • Song #9: Exit To note, your CD must be dropped off at the chapel in advance (day before is acceptable) so our production team can take the time to test the music quality on our sound systems appropriately.

The minister will visit with the bride & groom on the day of the ceremony prior to start time. If there are any special readings/poems you wish to incorporate, please submit them to your Wedding Planner forty-five (45) days before your ceremony for the minister’s review.
